Trans-European Dialogues (TED) are series of scholarly conferences on timely topics of public administration, jointly organised by the European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) and the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee).

TED2024 is high level conference bringing together senior public administration experts – academics and high-level practitioners – from across different regions – with the aim to discuss current research results and practices as well as future research opportunities. The emphasis of the conference is on broad debate among all invited participants based on their research based and practical experience.

Participants of TED 2024 were invited to develop scientific papers which would reflect the TED discussions. The papers could be published in the winter issue of the NISPAcee Journal of Public Administration and Policy, or other relevant journals.

NISPAcee and EGPA thank the local organizer, Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, for organizing and hosting the conference, namely the members of the Local Organizing Committee headed by Anamarija Musa, vice-recot of the University of Zagreb and Ivan Kopric, Dean of the Faculty of Law. Both NISPAcee and EGPA appreciated the readiness of the local organizer to allow online participation, thereby expanding the involvement of more relevant experts on the conference topic. In addition to the rich scientific program and excellent discussions, the physical participants also appreciated the attractive location of the conference and very pleasant social events, which provided an excellent opportunity for informal discussions and establishing further professional cooperation between the participants.
