The objectives of the summer school were 1. To analyse course syllabi in Public Management courses in Western Europe and North America; 2. To compare western syllabi with those used in Eastern Europe in Public Management; 3. To design a model syllabus in Public Management useful for countries in transition; 4. To discuss, share and exchange pedagogic methods in the teaching of Public Management. The different presentations by those who were asked to lead the workshop and by the participants on their own countries’ approach have been reproduced in this book.
