The project "Implementation of the Public Administration Reform strategy in Montenegro” has been running since September 2011 and is implemented by NISPAcee, within the UNDP–Government of Slovakia programme on Promotion of the Slovak Transitional Experience and Human Capital in ODA.

An upcoming project activity is the Slovak experts’ mission to Montenegro in March 2012. The purpose of the planned mission is to gain awareness about local conditions; to provide consultations on the adaptation and reforms of Public Administration and to discuss the final structure of the planned manual, which should be available in April / May, 2012.

The mission members will compise Slovak Leading Project Expert, Ms. Jana Oremová, Project PA and Legal Experts, Mr. Juraj Nemec and Mr. Boris Balog and Project Manager, Ms. Elena Žáková. The entire mission is being co-organised by The Human Resources Management Authority.

The programme of the mission is currently being finalised. The Slovak delegation will meet in Montenegro with high-level representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Finance, The Union of Municipalities, The Human Resources Management Authority and  the Regional School of Public Administration.

Part of the mission will include a seminar for those responsible for PA reform in Montenegro, including representatives of state bodies such as line ministries, public administration bodies, the Parliament of Montenegro, General Secretariat of the Government, representatives of local self-government and the Union of Municipalities. The experts will present selected Slovak experiences with PA reform in Slovakia and discuss them with the participants.
