Workshop on Curricula Building of PA programmes in Caucasus countries
The workshop on Curricula Building of PA programmes in Caucasus countries was jointly organised by NISPAcee and Caucasus University in Tbilisi, Georgia on March 3-4, 2015. It was organised in the framework of the project "Capacity Building of Caucasus Academic PA Programmes on the basis of EU Administrative Principles” supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
The following project team members and project experts participated in the workshop: Kakha Shengelia, Sergi Kapanadze, Nino Kakubava, Marine Mikeladze and Irena Melua from Caucasus University, Georgia, Mariam Voskanyan from the Russian-Armenian University, Armenia, Elvin Yusifli and Azad Garibov from Khazar University, Azerbaijan, individual Visegrad experts Juraj Nemec from Slovak Republic, Gyorgy Gajduschek from Hungary and David Spacek from Czech Republic and NISPAcee representatives Ludmila Gajdosova and Elena Zakova.
During the workshop the project team members reviewed the implementation of all project activities. The discussion focused mainly on Monitoring of PA programmes in the Caucasus region – methods, data collection, relevance of data, understanding of terminology, analysis, process, difficulties, openness of PA programmes, cooperation between PA programmes, lessons learned for future projects, and evaluation and discussion. As afollow-up, the discussion continued on Quality assessment of PA programmes in the Caucasus region - evaluation and accreditation of PA programmes. In this connection, the final drafts of both project publications and the last open issues were presented and discussed – Analysis of PA programmes in Caucasus countries and Recommendations. The final materials are available on the NISPAcee web-page.
The conversation also focused on the Memorandum of Understanding, planned to be signed between Caucasus partner institutions the next day during the final regional conference and their possible future activities.
During the workshop other issues were also discussed connected to the finalisation of the project - preparation for the final regional conference to be implemented next day, Building of library resources by project partners in Caucasus countries and PR / publishing activities of all partners.
