Is your success rate as high as you would like?
Could you benefit from help with project budgeting to improve your chances of winning funding and enable you to deliver project results?
How will it help you?
This practical course will help you to improve your current proposals through better budgeting. It aims to improve your chances of success when submitting proposals and to ensure that you can deliver the results of your project.
In the seminar:
You will submit your draft budgets/proposals in advance of the seminar
On the first day, we will give you input on how to prepare better budgets which will improve your proposals
On the second day, you will revise your draft budgets/proposals with opportunities for feedback from our experts and, should you wish to, to discuss your proposals in plenary session
The course is focused on project budgets for Horizon 2020, but the methods used are relevant in:
Project budgets for Structural and Cohesion Fund projects
Capital expenditure budgets for projects financed with national or sub-national finance
Revenue/operational budgets for individual services which are part of divisional or corporate budgets.
Who will most benefit?
This seminar will benefit those currently preparing budgets for proposals for Horizon 2020 projects, such as public and private sector organisations, not for profit organisations, research organisations, and secondary/higher education establishments, who wish to improve their chances of being successful.
It will also be relevant to those who:
Will in future be preparing proposals for Horizon Europe or Structural and Cohesion Fund projects
Are responsible in the public sector for preparing capital or revenue/operational expenditure budgets at project or individual service level.
