The fourth conference on Governance in (post)transition can be seen and already called traditional. In the past few years, the conference hosted presenters from various countries such as Sweden, France, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Austria. Despite the fact that we are proud of this, we want to escape rather narrow context of definition of governance connected to the predominantly public administration context. At the same time we can argue that transition became general state of the world, where constant change creates globally unstable natural and social environment.
In this manner we spread the scope of the conference, incorporating any form of governance. By this, we understand governance as anything from corporate management to international governance. However, presenters shall address the general issue of how social, economic, political, and even natural instabilities influence the governance and governing structures at any level.
The preferred topics (however, not limited to) are:
- decision-making in times crisis
- shifting the administrative reforms between business and bureaucracy
- instability of international community
- changes in corporate management in the times of crisis
- management of images (media-created and managed reality)
- technology ruled world
The conference will also provide a special PhD students panel.
