The main goal of the course is to improve the knowledge of course participants of the EU affairs, particularly understanding of the functioning of the EU, its role in the daily lives of its citizens, the system of decision taking, the ways how the citizens can influence the decision making, the policies which are/are not ruled by the EU, the current status and the perspectives of the EU directing. The training course will be conducted in English. Geographically, the recruitment is focused on institutions and individuals from all EU member states, especially from the new member states and EU candidate countries (Croatia and Turkey). Altogether max. 20 applicants will be accepted. The course is listed in the Comenius-Grundtvig Training database under the No. SK-2012-013-002.
