The main goal of the Summer School is to explore and enhance the best practices of educational and scientific cooperation with American Universities while developing the joint diploma programs.
The summer school program will be 5 days long, the teaching modes will include interactive lecture sessions, workshops and discussions. The main topics of the Summer School are the following:
• The main tendencies and perspectives of international scientific cooperation between East European and American universities;
• Development of the international scientific cooperation infrastructure
• The main peculiarities of educational process in American universities (teaching materials, Tutor-Student interaction, the educational quality standards etc.)
• Overcoming the main difficulties, arising during the conduction of scientific exchange with American universities;
This program is designed as rigorous, challenging summer “train the trainers” education program that enables faculty and trainers from different educative centers to acquire additional knowledge and skills in the best-of-arts of teaching, research and consulting methodology as well as gain additional interests in the education and training.
The event will bring together participant from different countries including CIS countries, Baltic States, Eastern Europe who will spend the best part of one week enjoying the pleasures Moscow, the facilities of the Moscow State University and a series of stimulating trainings by eminent professionals. The trainings will be delivered by lecturers representing Rockefeller College of the State University of New York, employees of USA Embassy in Russia and Joint American-Russian Scientific Cooperation Foundations, as well as by lecturers of School of Public Administration, Moscow State University.
