NISPAcee Press

E-NISPAcee publications available on the web site

NISPAcee has improved the publication section of its web site in order to provide available academic content for all visitors to the website. The publications are accessible as follows:

The NISPAcee Journal of public administration and Policy

All issues published in 2007, 2008 are open and available to download. Each issue contains the contents with the names of authors and editors who can be searched and identified. The full issue in pdf for download is also available. Issues published from 2009 till 2014 contain just selected articles, issues from 2015 are published fully containing the contents with names of authors and published articles can be downloaded.

Since 2018, the journal has been published twice a year as an e-publication, available on internet free-of-charge. Only a limited number of hard copies are published for legally obligatory submissions, according to the requirements of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic and for subscribers.

Teaching materials and Proceedings are outcomes of the WGs and proceedings from conferences. Publications older than 3 years are fully open; contain the contents with the names of authors who can be searched and full pdf versions of the publication to be downloaded. Recent publications published within the last 3 years contain only the contents with names that can be searched. Those interested can order hard copies or e-versions in pdf format and will be charged.

Training materials are on the web site and are available in full pdf format. Each publication also contains the contents and list of authors and contributors which can be found through the search engine.

Other publications by the NISPAcee Press

Opportunities for Publishing

The NISPAcee Press was established in 2008 following a decision made by the NISPAcee Steering Committee. The NISPAcee Press reflects the needs of NISPAcee member institutions and all other non-members institutions from the field of work to publishing books in the field of public administration and policy. The publishing programme of the NISPAcee Press focuses on the issues of the region covered by NISPAcee (new EU member countries, non-EU member countries in Eastern Europe, countries in the West Balkans, countries of Central Asia and countries in the Caucasus).

The NISPAcee Press acts as a forum for authors internationally, as well as locally and regionally, to interpret the problems in the region and issues of political and economic transition more widely, targeting an international readership.

The NISPAcee Press aims to build on its established reputation as a publisher in the field and expand its list as resources and opportunities allow. The NISPAcee Press publishes books produced as a result of various NISPAcee activities such as research working groups, conferences etc. The NISPAcee Press is also responsive to external authors seeking to publish high-quality manuscripts. In the case of non-commissioned publications, the authors will have to substantially share the relevant publishing costs.

The NISPAcee Press operates by standards common to university presses, including peer review and editorial committee approval. The books are produced regionally and sold internationally.

Submission Guidelines

All manuscripts appropriate to the publishing program (should be prepared according to the NISPAcee Manuscript Guidelines available on the NISPAcee web site) could be submited to Mr. Juraj Sklenar, e-mail: sklenar@nispa.org.
