In search for practices that lead to excellent performance, EIPA and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations of the Netherlands perform a benchmarking study 2022-25 to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, satisfaction and trust of citizens, enterprises, and other relevant stakeholders regarding available products, services, provisions, and outcomes in ten policy areas in 35 countries.

The first chapter of the sub-study 2022 focuses on public administration—emphasising its significant role in influencing a state’s performance across all policy areas. It sheds light on emerging challenges and overarching trends in the sector such as digitalisation (also in light of the pandemic) and changing demographics.

On 13 October from 14.00 to 14.45 CET our experts will present the key findings of the study and we will launch the “International Benchmarking Study” dashboard. The dashboard, available at www.eipa.eu from 13 October onwards, provides an interactive way to explore data.
