Abstract  
  		 In Hungary, COVID-19 has created such a unique situation for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). The Hungarian government took advantage of the pandemic and fortify its authoritarian power by issuing the “Enabling Act”, hence, affecting the relations with CSOs, which was already not in harmony before. During the pandemic, the studies cited in this paper showed that the relationship between the government and CSOs was not more severely aggravated, yet the government showed no attempt to engage in cooperation with the CSOs.

The second half of this paper focuses on the case of Agria Universitat Association, a civil society organization founded in 2007 in Eger, Hungary, as an example of how a CSO responded to the unprecedented situation. During the pandemic, the resilience and flexibility of the association was put to test, yet they managed to adopt appropriate measurements to respond effectively for changes and learn much more about management from a different perspective.
