This year, a Poster Session for the 30th Annual NISPAcee Conferences was held on Friday, 3 Jun 2022 during a coffee break (15:30 – 16:00). Iwona Sobis from the School of Public Administration at Gothenburg University, in Sweden, conducted this event online.

Only one PhD student presented her planned research - Ms. Bartha Ildikó from the University of Debrecen, Hungary. This online event clearly showed that potential participants preferred drinking coffee with other participants during the break than attending the Poster Session in a separate room designated for this event. 

Of course, the presenter had the opportunity to discuss own research with the chair. According to Bartha Ildikó, the chair's questions, comments and advice proved to be insightful and moved the development of the research project forward. However, some lessons should be drawn from the online Poster Session. Let  us continue with the next Poster Session in Belgrade as a physical meeting between the presenters and the public, as such a physical meeting creates many more opportunities for providing comments, some pragmatic advice, asking questions that serve the presenters on their scientific trips.
