– Report

The working group organised three hybrid sessions and one joint session with the WGI. A total of ten presentations were made during the three scheduled meetings, seven physical and three online. All scheduled authors presented their papers.

The aim of the working group is to provide research on public finance and public financial management conducted in the NISPAcee region and to encourage the publication of original research on the topic. Various topics were presented during this year's conference. The most homogenous sessions focused on budgeting. Other topics presented included an overview of research on taxation in our region, public financing of sports, financial determinants of hesitancy to vaccinate against COVID-19 in Romania, fiscal policy in Romania, health care financing in Russia, and the costs of compliance with environmental regulation.

All of the presented papers produced interesting findings, however, none of them can be directly submitted to the NISPAcee journal for consideration, but the authors of the best papers were given guidance of what to do to reach this level.
