Cancellation Conditions

Special Cancellation Conditions will be applied for the 29th NISPAcee Annual Conference due to an ongoing uncertainty related to the Covid-19 pandemic’s development in the fall of 2021. Two possible scenarios are foreseen:

A. The conference will be organized in a physical format with a limited number of online presentations as planned.

B. The conference will have to be changed to a fully online conference:

B.1  Prior to September 20, 2021 – the NISPAcee Steering Committee will have the right to take such a decision if the overall situation in Europe or in Slovenia renders it impossible for NISPAcee to organize the physical event.

B.2  From September 21, 2021 - in the event of any force majeure that NISPAcee reasonably believes to be substantial, or that is outwith NISPAcee's control e.g. restrictions by the Slovenian government.

A. The conference will be organized in a physical format with a limited number of online presentations:

All participants` cancellations should be sent by e-mail to NISPAcee Headquarters (nispa@nispa.org). Receipt of these must be confirmed by NISPAcee Headquarters.

A. 1 Prior to September 15, 2021 – paid conference fees less bank charges will be refunded after the conference, based on a written participant`s request and the submission of bank details (deadline for requests: September 15, 2021).

A. 2 From September 16, 2021 – following conditions will be applied:

2.1 Cancellation by a registered participant based on any kind of personal reasons including health problems - no refund will be given.

2.2. Cancellations based on some Covid-19 restrictions applied on a national or international level – paid conference fees less bank charges will be refunded after the conference based on a written participant`s request and the submission of bank details. Proof of the reason for cancellation will be required to be submitted along with the cancellation request.

Substitutions may be made at any time. If you wish to substitute a registered participant, please contact NISPAcee Headquarters (nispa@nispa.org) at the latest by October 12, 2021.


B. The conference will have to be changed to a fully online conference:

B.1 Prior to September 20, 2021 by a decision of the NISPAcee Steering Committee - Participants registered for physical participation can decide if they want to participate online or cancel their registration.

1.1 For an online participation, the difference between paid regular fees and online conference fees less bank charges will be refunded after the conference, based on a participant`s written request and the submission of bank details.

1.2 In the case of cancellation, paid conference fees less bank charges will be refunded after the conference, based on a written participant`s request and the submission of bank details.

B.2 From September 21, 2021 - in the event of any force majeure - participants registered for physical participation can decide if they want to participate online or cancel their registration.

2.1 For online participation, the difference between paid regular fees and online conference fees less bank charges will be refunded after the conference, based on a written participant`s request and submission of bank details.

2.2 In the case of cancellation, 50% of paid conference fees less bank charges will be refunded after the conference, based on a written participant`s request and submission of bank details.
