THE EUROPEAN AND COMPARATIVE DIMENSION
Separate courses on European administration are not currently offered, although elements appear in some courses as outlined below. The European Union is currently expanding its activities in Armenia, and as Armenia seeks to join the European Community, it is important for public administration to be taught as a separate course in the near future.
Armenian School of Public Administration
European public administration appears in courses taught on administrative theory, the organisation of the public administration, geopolitics, comparative constitutional law and international economic relations courses at ASPA.
Yerevan State University
In YSU, European administration courses are consist of courses on constitutional law of foreign countries, comparative constitutional law and political regimes.
American University of Armenia
A comparative course on politics and administration in the Newly Independent States and Central and Eastern Europe is taught at AUA. “Regular” PA utilises a comparative approach in order to introduce concepts of contemporary Armenian PA.
