Presenter  Tina Jukic
Abstract

The use of social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) is increasing among individuals and businesses. The latter use social media to enhance their visibility, interaction with clients and the (related) marketing and sales of their products and services. Social media represent the potential for increased interaction between public administration and its users.

The research to be presented in this paper is focused on social media usage in public administration organizations. More precisely, the paper will provide literature review on this topic. Namely, a lot has been written in thies field in the last five years, thus a meta analysis of the research is useful and promising.

Main results of the paper:

• Review of literature in the field of social media usage in public administration organizations.
• Meta review of the literature in the field based on selected parameters/criteria.
• Suggestions for further research in the field.
