Business Meeting

Ludmila Gajdosova, NISPAcee Executive Director, presented the report of activities for 2017, plans for 2018 and 2019, the financial report for 2017 and the budget for 2018.

The NISPAcee Directive on Membership Fees was presented and consequently approved by all participants.
 
Elections to the NISPAcee Steering Committee: Gyorgy Hajnal, Corvinus University, Budapest, Hungary was re-elected for his second 3-year term, and Calin Hintea, Babes-Bolyia University, Cluj, Romania and Eka Akobia, Caucasus University, Georgia were unanimously elected for their first 3-year term.

Further discussions concerned opportunities for possible new projects and future activities. Juraj Nemec announced that NISPAcee would be in charge of the preparations for TED 10 to be held in February 2020 and invited members to express their interest in hosting this event.
 
The Annual Conferences in 2020 and 2021 were also discussed. Invitations to host these conferences can still be submitted to the NISPAcee Headquarters. The NISPAcee Steering Committee will make a decision in this matter during its fall meeting in November 2018.  

Towards the end of the meeting Juraj Nemec expressed his gratitude to the Steering Committee members whose terms in office were completed Iasi: Marius Profiroiu and Kakha Shengelia.
