Associate Professor, Economic Policy Department at the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine. She worked as an adviser in policy analysis and financial policy for various technical assistance projects provided by USAID, CIDA, and UNDP and participated in training projects provided by Wales University, World Bank etc. in CEE and Balkan countries. She has wide experience in designing and delivering training courses for multi-ethnic groups. She has more than 100 publications which include monographs, articles, and research and policy papers.

The WG still remained a constructive, solid, learning forum for academic, policymakers and other stakeholders in exchanging experience on how academics can meet the urgent needs of public servants, civil society in practice oriented evidence-based studies in preparing and promoting relevant policy advice, as well as in upgrading academic and training programmes in public policy analysis and encouraging the transfer of knowledge on public policy in Central and Eastern Europe.
The authors are welcome to present their paper proposals focused on:
-Towards evidence-based decision-making and use of evaluation results (what are the effects and for whom).
-Policy design and Implementation models as an integrated exchange system.
-Performance management, strategic management approaches, methods, techniques, tools, results and impact assessment.
-Governance networks in Policy Making.
-Performance reporting at national and CEE level.
In recent years, more and more comparative papers have been presented and published, so that a rich inventory of cases is present. As a next step, we invite prospective presenters to focus on the techniques of policy analysis and development, in an effort to increase the practical relevance of the working group and to develop and common knowledge base.
Involvement of practitioners is highly appreciated. We therefore request presenters to add at least a few paragraphs of their papers that are to focus on the practical relevance of their papers, and invite them to involve practitioners as ‘peer- reviewers’ in this respect. Papers written in cooperation between practitioners and researchers are highly welcomed.
