Presenter Rodica Ianole-Calin Abstract Based on the latest research in behavioral economics, the paper aims to illustrate the potential for improvement without significant spending in the Romanian healthcare, a sector predominantly characterized by the lack of proper funding. We will review some relevant studies pertaining to other countries that can be successfully implemented in Romania, too. Our overview will emphasize certain human behaviors that might underlie inefficiencies in healthcare packages, and then will examine the corresponding experimental results, which offer some simpler and cheaper solutions to correct them.
