THE EUROPEAN AND COMPARATIVE DIMENSION
European-oriented research in public administration was organised and nurtured mostly in law schools, particularly at the law school of Belgrade University, and specialised programs were offered by the Centre for European Law of the same faculty. After an initially successful start, the centre now faces problems due to the political situation and continuing economic difficulties in the country. However, as the centre is housed in the powerful law school and is associated with the University at Nancy, hits successful reactivation is expected soon.
