Paper/Speech Details of Conference Program for the 19th NISPAcee Annual Conference Program Overview e-Government Author(s) David Špaček Masaryk University Brno Czech Republic Title eGovernment and its policy and projects in Czech territorial self-government File Paper files are available only for conference participants, please login first. Presenter Abstract e-Government / e-Governance terminology usually refers to various possibilities of electronic forms to serve as an alternative instrument for practical achieving of improvements in governance. Regardless the heterogeneity of the terminology, its practice can be separately discussed with regard to the national projects and projects initiated and launched by territorial self-governments. Since the papers I prepared for the NISPAcee conferences have focused especially on the national e-government projects and national approaches to e-government evaluation, I would like to focus the proposed paper on the policy and practice of e-government in the Czech territorial self-government. The proposed paper would deal particularly with regional and municipal e-government projects that have been awarded in the national e-government awards. It would also summarize the main focus of projects that have been awarded in several previous years.
