Abstract

In spite of the fact that Poland is a member of European Union
since four years, there are still noticeable differneces in regulatory
and system solutions concerning demands which are put to public
administration workers.
In following thesis we will try to analize what kind of demands
have to be faced in order to be an officer of public administration,
what are the possibilities of proffesional development (training system),
what are the possibilities of career promotion, and also we want to find
out if there are any divergences and what are their causes. We would like to
verify whether public administartion workers are realy able to cope
with new challenges which are put by membership in European Union.
The thesis will be based on three matters:
1. Comparative analysis of law regulations concerning public
administration staff.
2. Carring questionnaire research in government and self governed
administration offices concerning training capabilities and
proffesional development, as well as analisis of workers expectations.
3. Conclusions and suggestions.
