The paper analyses the civil servants training systems capacity building’s problems and priorities, according to the development of knowledge based society‘s challenges. The attention is paid to these issues:
- Changes in civil servants work in the context of knowledge based society;
- The new requirements for civil servants competence and ability in the context of knowledge based society;
- The new in-service training and training technologies in the context of knowledge based society, the adaptability of these technologies in civil service and public administration;
- The new civil servants in-service training and training principles in the context of knowledge based society;
- The development of public administration training institutions’ practice in the context of knowledge based society;
- The peculiarities of civil servants in-service training and training, under the establishment of knowledge based society in Central Europe;
- The international cooperation while developing civil servants in-service training and training, according to the development of knowledge based society’s challenges.
