Chinese Society of Administrative Reform
This was the major objective of a visit by a Chinese
delegation to the NISPAcee Headquarters in Bratislava on July 3, 2015. The
delegation was led by WEI Liqun, President of China’s Society of Administrative
Reform. Other members of the delegation included WANG Manchuan, Secretary
General, WANG Lu, Executive Deputy Secretary, HU Qingping, Division Director
and HU Xianzhi, Division Director. The delegation was accompanied by PAN
Weiwang, China's Ambassador to the Slovak Republic and WANG Ruixiang, Head of the
Political Section and Spokesman of the Embassy of the P.R. of China in the
Slovak Republic.

NISPAcee and UNDP Cooperation
On June 30, 2015 UNDP representatives Robert Bernardo, UNDP
Policy Specialist on Capacity Development and Institutional Strengthening,
Elena Danilova-Cross, UNDP Programme Specialist on Poverty and Inequality and
Marta Diavolova, Programme Adviser from UNFPA visited NISPAcee Headquarters in
Bratislava.

Project “Civil Society decides too“
The
project "Civil Society decides too", financed by the Delegation of the European
Union to Montenegro, IPA 2013 Civil Society Facility Montenegro Programme began
in July 2014 and should last 15 months.
The project is coordinated by the Centre for Development of Non-Governmental
Organisations, Montenegro in partnership with NISPAcee and NGO BONUM,
Montenegro.

Study Tour of Montenegrin CSOs to Slovakia
On
June 8-11, 2015 eleven representatives of Montenegrin CSOs participated in a
study tour to the Slovak Republic with the aim of learning what the principles are
of the functioning of civil society in the country.

23rd NISPAcee Annual Conference
The 23rd NISPAcee Annual Conference, organised in co-operation with the Caucasus
University, Tbilisi, Georgia, was attended by 300 participants from 40 countries
worldwide. This included 24 CEE countries covered by NISPAcee’s institutional
membership.

V4 Capacity Building - Conference Panel
The Panel on Quality Improvement of PA
programmes in the Caucasus Region, based on European Standards, was jointly
organised by NISPAcee and Caucasus University during the 23rd NISPAcee Annual
Conference in Tbilisi, Georgia on May 22, 2015. It was organised in the framework of the
project "Capacity Building of Caucasus Academic PA Programmes on the basis of
EU Administrative Principles", supported by the International Visegrad Fund.

NISPAcee panel was organized on March 7, Saturday, during
the ASPA conference in Chicago (March 6-10, 2015). The title of the panel

Challenges for Public Administration Schools in Europe and

V4 Capacity Building - Regional conference
The
regional conference on Building Democratic Governance on the Basis of EU
Administrative Principles in the Caucasus Region was organised by NISPAcee and
Caucasus University in Tbilisi, Georgia on March 5, 2015. It was organised in
the framework of the project "Capacity Building of Caucasus Academic PA Programmes on the Basis of EU
Administrative Principles” supported by the International Visegrad Fund. In the
conference participated Approximately 60 participants participated in the
conference from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, mainly from different universities
- PA programme lecturers, trainers, researchers, students and also PA
officials, representatives of civil society organisations and the media were
invited.
