A pleasant drive from Tbilisi towards beutiful Chateau Mukhrani where we will have lunch together. After the lunch we will visit together Mtskheta. Mtskheta was the ancient capital of Kartli, the East Georgian Kingdom from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. We will see the oldest city and visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral – UNESCO World heritage site. And then we will head towards The Holy Cross Monastery of Jvari standing on a rocky mountain and to conclude a beutiful afternoon we will enjoy the stop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi river, overlooking the town of Mtskheta.
