INSTITUTIONAL SETTING
The following types of schools/faculties currently offer public administration programmes:
- law faculties;
- economics faculties;
- faculties of political science;
- history faculties;
- philology faculties.
As indicated previously, traditionally “law” and law-related courses have heavily influenced this field. Many programmes are located inside law schools, and they tend to follow a common conservative traditional model. After 1989, the trend was to locate public administration programmes inside political science or economics faculties, following Western models.
