His focus of interest is public administration reform, training and human resources. He took over the leadership of the Working Group on Civil Service which was announced in 2009. Its aim is to follow cross-country discussions and encourage those from different countries, with different backgrounds, to present and discuss the various models of Human Resources’ (HR), commonalities and differences between CEE states compared to Western countries.

In addition to this scientific approach, he would like to continue a practical input and experience exchange for the implementation of selected and precise HR Instruments in different countries and to have a critical analysis of their impact.
