Alena Brunovska, Executive Director of Academia Istropolitana Nova, Associate Professor and Doctor of Sciences in Chemical Engineering was born Date on October 20, 1941, Prague and passed away October 2, 1998.
As a part of the joint project between the Austrian Federal AcademyofPublic Administrationand Academia Istropolitana’s School of PublicAdministration, the second meeting of represen tatives of schools and institutes of public administration in Central and Eastern Europe was organized in Bratislava in January 1994. NISPAcee was established in order to fill the gap in cooperation amongst publicadministration educational and training centresin the CEE countries. During this meeting, Alena Brunovská took responsibility to host the executive secretariat of the organization at the Academia Istropolitana.
