Model training course for advisors „How to be a better policy advisor“

The second part of the Training of trainers – model training course for advisors “How to be a better policy advisor” was implemented in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, on February 27 – March 2, 2006. The training was led by an international team of NISPAcee trainers - Ms. Lesya Il'chenko-Syuyva from Ukraine, leading trainer, Mr. Georgi Shopov from Bulgaria, Mr. Alfredas Chmieliauskas from Lithuania.

 

Selected trainers from the Faculty of Political Sciences participated in both parts of the training of trainers in order to develop their training skills and to become familiar with the topic and with the style of the training. After the participation in the training of trainers they are able to lead next training courses “How to be a better policy advisor” within their institution.


Aims of the Training of trainers were following:

- to provide advise on incorporation of the training course “How to be a better policy advisor” to the teaching curricula of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Belgrade

- to develop participants training skills and their abilities to deliver the training course “How to be a better policy advisor”

Objectives:

At the end of the training participants should be able:

- to know the core program of the course

- to formulate training aims and objectives

- to work with feedback

- to apply appropriate methodology

- to be ready to adjust the program according to participants‘ needs
