NISPAcee deeply mourns the loss of two esteemed colleagues who profoundly shaped our community and the field of public administration. Both were among the founding figures and supporters of NISPAcee in its early years.

† László Váradi, a former member of the NISPAcee Steering Committee (1995–2001) and President of NISPAcee (1997–2000) while actively serving at Corvinus University of Budapest, passed away in Novemebr 2024. His leadership and dedication left an enduring legacy in NISPAcee.

† Jak Jabes, a former Steering Committee Advisor (1994–2000), representative of SIGMA/OECD in Paris, France, passed away on December 15, 2024. His impactful work fostered collaboration and excellence in public administration across the region.
