On the 17^thof January 2019 the OECD Council adopted the Recommendation of the Council on Public Service Leadership and Capability, which is the result of almost two years of effort.  The recommendation has established the first set of international principles on good people management in the public sector, and are setting a new standard by which to compare work, measure progress and define good governance. 

The final adopted text of the Recommendation is available on the online Compendium of OECD Legal Instruments, where you can also download the booklet attached to this email.  There has been  also made a webpage for the Recommendation and produced a glossy flyer which can also be used to promote and disseminate the Recommendation.
