24th NISPAcee Annual Conference: Summary
The 24th NISPAcee Annual Conference, organised in May 2016 in co-operation with the
Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, was attended by almost 250
participants from 36 countries worldwide.

New NISPAcee President and Members of the NISPAcee Steering Committee
 Juraj Nemec was elected as a new NISPAcee President during the 24th NISPAcee Annual Conference in Zagreb .
Jadranka Djurkovic, Montenegro was elected for her second 3 years term.
Juraj Nemec, Slovakia, Polona Kovac, Slovenia and Sarapuu Kulli,
Estonia were elected for their first term in the Steering Committee.

Attending the NISPAcee conference has become, over the years, a nice
closure to a busy semester. I really enjoy meeting the different people,
many of whom have become friends over the years, and to continue the
conversation at the place we left it off last year. I am always curious

24th NISPAcee Annual Conference: Feedbacks from the Participants of PhD Seminar
Ursa Jeretina, Sloven ia: This
was my first time at the NISPAcee conference in Zagreb and I was
honoured that I could participate in such a famous and important
conference as a new member and presenter of my topic. I have really
enjoyed each of the four days around so many experts with whom we could
exchange knowledge, good and bad practices and point out the main
critical topics for the future and more common EAS. I am also glad that I
participated in the PhD sessions about "how to write an excellent
article", which will help me to write more efficiant and structured
articles in the future! Thank you NISPAcee for giving me this
opportunity of expertise in the widespread field of PA in such a
beautiful city in Croatia.

 Irakli Paresishvili: The tour was very useful and interesting. We
had the opportunity to become acquainted with the Slovak experience in
the establishment of a modern management system in the water sector. It
also helped us to identify the weaknesses of the water sector management
in Georgia. During the study tour we also had the opportunity to
understand the specifics of the water supply system in Bratislava and
see the full cycle of operation of two wastewater treatment plants...
