The first part of the course will concentrate on recent developments in public procurement at European level and the second part will be devoted to recent case law.
You will receive an insight into the recent jurisprudence of the General Court. This case law relates to challenges to contract awards by the EU institutions/agencies/bodies and is based on procurement under the Financial Regulation. Special attention will be given to the recent case law of the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU) in the field of procurement. In addition, the essence of the remedies directives and the related case law will be presented and interpreted for you.

At the end of this course you should have a good understanding of:
the current legal developments in procurement at European level
the recent jurisprudence of the CJEU and its implications in the field of procurement, including remedies
the recent jurisprudence of the General Court and its implications for the application of the rules
