A pleasant drive north from Belgrade towards Fruska Gora Hills (69 km fare from Belgrade – 539 m altitude), a National Park, now famous for its vineyards, hiding 16 monasteries scattered around it from the 15th-18th centuries.
The tour includes:
- Visit to the one of the most valuable – Krusedol monastery from 16th century;
- Sightseeing of the picturesque town of Sremski Karlovci where every building has a story to tell (old High School, Serbian Patriarch Mansion, Cathedral Church and Baroque fountain);
- A dinner with tasting handcrafted wine and honey;
- Sightseeing tour of historical landmarks of Petrovaradin Fortress known as the "Gibraltar of the Danube”, the attractive 18th cenrtury building that once housed the artillery and was later transformed into a museum with spectacular views over the Danube river.
