Conference Coordinators and Chairs
Coordinator is a leading long-term expert of the Working Group (WG) approved/appointed by the Steering Committee.
Each Working Group should be led by at least 2 coordinators. The coordinators cannot represent the same institution and the same country.
His/her responsibilities:
- To prepare an outline of the WG research agenda and outcomes,

To produce the Call for Papers every year pertaining to the WG meeting organised during the NISPAcee Annual Conference,

To prepare the programme for each WG meeting,

To select and evaluate the papers to be presented at the WG meeting,

To read each paper prior to the WG meeting,

To invite additional speakers/discussants to the Panel/Session if required,

To lead the WG meetings and provide feedback on the papers presented,

To recommend the best papers for NISPAcee publications and for the NISPAcee Journal of Public Administration and Policy,

To take charge of the overall WG research outcomes,

To take charge of the yearly reporting on the WG’s activities/outputs after the Conference for the Steering Committee and the NISPAcee community.
Chair is a leading short-term expert serving as a moderator of Panels and Sessions approved/appointed by the Steering Committee.
His/her responsibilities:
- To develop a theme and objectives of the Panel/Session of a particular conference (not valid for the Main Conference Theme and General Session),
- To develop the Call for Papers,
- To prepare the programme of the Panel/Session,
- To select and evaluate the papers to be presented at the Panel/Session,
- To read each paper prior to the Panel/Session,
- To invite additional speakers/discussants to the Panel/Session if required,
- To lead the Panel/Session and discussions,
- To recommend the best papers for NISPAcee publications and for the NISPAcee Journal of Public Administration and Policy,
- To write a report about the output of the Panel/Session after the Conference for the Steering Committee and the NISPAcee community,
- Chairs
of the Session on the Main Conference Theme serve as editors of the Conference
proceedings.
