NISPAcee yearly announces on the NISPAcee Annual Conference following awards:
Allan Rosenbaum Award for Outstanding Contribution to Academia and/or Practice in Public Administration in the NISPAcee region
This award is presented to academic professionals or practitioners who have made an outstanding impact on the development of NISPAcee's areas of interest, introduced innovative practices that advance public governance and service delivery, and promoted international cooperation by encouraging strong collaboration among institutions both within and beyond the region.
Alena Brunovska Award for Teaching Excellence in Public Administration
Alena Brunovska (AB) Award is the memory award, created in recognition of Alena Brunovska´s work. A purpose of this Award is to tribute to professor Brunovska’s commitment to the development of public administration education in the region of Central and Eastern Europe and to promote the lecturers and their outcomes that continue Brunovska’s legacy.
Mzia Mikeladze PhD Thesis Award
The Mzia Mikeladze PhD Thesis Award aims to promote research by young scholars on public administration and public policy in the NISPAcee region and to acknowledge outstanding work and a significant contribution in the field. The award was created in recognition of Mzia Mikeladze’s contributions to the discipline, professionalism, and organisation of NISPAcee.
NISPAcee Best Student Paper Award
The purpose of the Best Student Paper Award competition is to recognise a graduate student who demonstrates the ability to produce a high quality research paper presented during the NISPAcee Annual Conference.
NISPAcee Merit Award
The aim of this award is to show appreciation to those who actively cooperate with NISPAcee and provide help in meeting its objectives, mission and development.
Best Comparative Paper Presented at a NISPAcee Annual Conference
The purpose of this award is to support the comparative research studies in the CEE region. Therefore, the winner of the award receives a financial donation.
