Because the NISPAcee region covers also the islamic countries, this year conference includes the following important questions for the modernisation of the Public Administration of these countries:
- Are there Islamic models of PA?
- Is there an Islamic PA legacy even in secular, and/or formerly Ottoman, societies in the regions?
- Are Globalisation, Westernisation, and Europeanisation challenging Islamic PA, or is it rather the other way round?
- How do the recent
debates about modes and indicators of Governance, and of Non-Western PA,
influence our perception of Islamic PA?
- What does all of this mean for Public Administration Reform?
