Format: Planned as a physical conference with an opportunity to present online. (The final decision will be taken by the NISPAcee Steering Committee in February 2022 according to the development of the Covid -19 pandemics.)
 
Call for papers and the on-line application with paper proposals will be opened by the December 22, 2021 with a deadline for paper submissions January 24, 2022.
Online registration for the conference will be opened in February 2022.

The Mzia Mikeladze PhD Thesis Award aims to promote research by young scholars on public administration and public policy in the NISPAcee region.

Nominations to be submitted by extended deadline: January 31, 2022.
 
Nominations can be made by the NISPAcee member institution where the thesis has been defended.

The 29th NISPAcee Annual Conference 2021 - Conference Report



29th NISPAcee Annual Conference, Ljubljana, Slovenia
Date: October 21-23, 2021
Main theme of the conference: "Citizens' Engagement and Empowerment - The Era of Collaborative Innovation in Governance"
Organised in cooperation with Faculty of Public Administration, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia

200 participants from 40 countries participated in the 29th NISPAcee Annual Conference.

At this NISPAcee annual conference in 2021 were presented papers that invigorated discussion about possible ways of citizens' empowerment in the CEE region, in connection to its developments/tradition, governance practices, regulatory framework, financial capacity, public policy, digitalisation processes, human resource management and public administration itself.

NISPAcee Business Meeting, Elections and the New NISPAcee President

The Business Meeting was held during the NISPAcee Annual Conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia on October 22, 2021. Three NISPAcee Steering Committee members were re-elected for their second term in the SC:
Calin Hintea, Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences, Babes-Bolyai University, Romania,
Juraj Nemec, Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University Brno, Czech Republic,
Eka Akobia, Caucasus School of Governance, Caucasus University, Georgia.
 
The Steering Committee elected Calin Hintea the new NISPAcee President for two years term.

Trans-European dialogue TED2022 Conference - Call for participation

Theme: Bureaucratic Transformations: Longitudinal Perspectives on Local and (Supra)National Public Administration on Local and (Supra)National Public Administration

Format: The conference will be organized using a hybrid format whereby participants can either join us in person in Bergen or

PAQUALITY IO8 - Implementation of the European PA Accreditation

The final Intellectual Output IO8 of the NISPAcee PAQUALITY project has been finalized and published. This output represents a comprehensive overview and summary of the findings and knowledge gained and experience resulting from the activities of the PAQUALITY project launched between 2018 - 2021 by NISPAcee in cooperation with major partners, namely EAPAA, Masaryk University, Corvinus University of Budapest, Ljubljana University, Babes-Bolyai University and other HEIs from the new member states.
