Review of the
Standards of Excellence for Public Administration Education and Training
adopted in 2008 is organized by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) and the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA).
NISPAcee representatives Calin Hintea, NISPAcee Immediate Past President and Ludmila Gajdosova, NISPAcee Executive Director participate in the UNDESA/IASIA Task Force appointed for the Review. First online meeting of the Task Force was held on April, 18, 2023.
Europe Regional Workshop on the Review of the Standards of Excellence for Public Administration Education and Training was held online on October 5, 2023. Updated Standards will be published by the end of 2024.
The EAPAA (European Association for Public Administration Accreditation)
Board and General meetings were held in Zagreb, Croatia within the EGPA Annual Conference 2023 on
September 7, 2023.
Prof Gyorgy Hajnal, Corvinus University, Hungary (former NISPAcee President) was elected the new Chair of the EAPAA Board. EAPAA Board members representing NISPAcee Juraj Nemec (NISPAcee Steering
Committee member) and Ludmila Gajdosova (NISPAcee Executive Director) participated in the meetings as well.

The AWARD was presented to the NISPAcee President Calin Hintea on March 22, 2023 by the the Award Committee: Chair James Perry, ASPA President Allan Rosenbaum, ASPA International Director Pan Suk Kim and ASPA International Director Bill Shields. The Award Ceremony was held online within ASPA’s 2023 Annual Conference International Assembly (American Society for Public Administration).
The Presidential Summit on "Mainstreaming the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Curricula of Schools of Public Administration” organized by UNDESA was held online, via Zoom, on 27 February, 2023. The NISPAcee President Calin Hintea and the NISPAcee Executive DirectorLudmila Gajdosova participated in the Summit.

Therefore, NISPAcee will, for the time being, suspend institutional cooperation with any institution of the Russian Federation that actively supports the invasion of Ukraine; calls on its members to consider doing likewise.
