Effective Project Management in the Water Sector in Georgia: Implementation of the EU and EBRD Methodologies

Kick-off Meeting

 

On October 20, 2015, the first project meeting was held in Bratislava at the Headquarters of NISPAcee.

The project coordinator and expert, Ludmila Gajdosova, Executive Director of NISPAcee opened the project meeting and welcomed all participants: leading project expert Milan Oleriny (MP Consulting) and project experts Sylvia Kniezova (SMART F.I.S. sro), Viera Huskova and Miroslav Huska (ENPRO Consult), Boris Balog (Ministry of Environment of Slovakia) and the NISPAcee project management team, Juraj Sklenar and Elena Zakova.

Each participant in the meeting introduced her/himself and informed the forum about own activities.

 

The team jointly discussed the project plan, the coordination of all individual project activities, the timetable and division of roles and responsibilities as follows:

1. Information about Slovak Aid, the project supported institution.

2. Project timetable – timeline of project activities.

3. Content of the project – project tasks.

4. Division of roles and responsibilities of each member of the project team, procedure for signing contracts with experts and completing worksheets.

6. Communication of experts on the project needs.

7. Preparation of the first trip to Georgia and making a list of required documents.
