The project "Effective Project Management in the Water Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Implementation of the EU tendering procedures” was implemented jointly by NISPAcee and Civil Service Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CSAFBIH) and it was supported by SlovakAid, a Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Programme.

 

The project was running in the period November 2016 – January 2018 with the specific objective to improve and develop Effective Project Management in the Water Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the terms of the EU and transfer of Slovak experience. There were developed 2 outputs:
 
Output 1:  Methodical guide for implementation of EU tendering procedures for the water sector projects in BiH – developed manuals:
Manual A1 - Methodology of projects under the terms of the EC (Design Works)
Manual A2 - Methodology of projects under the terms of the EC (Site Supervising)
Manual A3 - Methodology of projects under the terms of the EU (Works)
Manual A4 - Annexes to Contracts
Manual B - Tenders Evaluation Methodology
Manual C - Guidelines and Methodology on Municipal Infrastructure Projects for Implementation of the EU Tendering Procedures, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Manual D - Comments on the Public Procurement legislation
Manual E - Comments to existing Law on Construction and Design Works
Manual F - Commentary on Legislation on Strategic environmental assessment and Environmental impact assessment in BiH

Output 2: Developed professional capacities in BiH for effective project management in the water sector under the terms of the EU – in frame of the study tour to Slovakia, training of trainers, conference and mission to selected municipalities

The project results were successfully achieved by the project team from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovakia: Alma Imamovic, Amra Ibrahimpasic, Sanja Cubela, Samra Ljuca, Milan Oleriny, Juraj Tkac, Ludmila Gajdosova, Boris Balog, Elena Zakova and Juraj Sklenar.

All developed manuals were published in Bosnian and English and disseminated via NISPAcee and the CSAFBIH website, on Facebook, to various databases and all municipalities and relevant ministries in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
