The Gaidar Forum - the 'Russian Davos Forum ' - hosted by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) annually brings together famous scientists, government representatives - including Russia's Prime Minister and ministers of the Russian and other governments - scientists, public and political figures and businessmen from Russia and other countries.

 

This year the event took place between the 15th and 17th January in Moscow, in the premises of RANEPA. The NISPAcee delegation consisted of Prof. György Hajnal, President of the NISPAcee Steering Committee and Prof. Juraj Nemec, Immediate Past President. Together with EAPAA Secretary-General, Prof. Taco Brandsen, they served as invited speakers in the Session on "International Standards of Public Administration and Management Training". During the session - where the PA training and education sector's representative discussed the role of international accreditation schemes - Prof. Hajnal contributed with a presentation on "International Accreditation in PA education: The Central and Eastern European Experience". Prof. Nemec gave a speech about the developments in the area of "Joint EAPAA and ICAPA acreditations".
