Feedbacks from the conference participants

Lucie Sedmihradska, Czech Republic:  Attending the NISPAcee conference has become, over the years, a nice closure to a busy semester. I really enjoy meeting the different people, many of whom have become friends over the years, and to continue the conversation at the place we left it off last year. I am always curious when something strikes me as different – an inspiring paper, interesting people, or a great party. There is some nostalgia too as I can never be grateful enough for the chance I had, thanks to the NISPAcee conference as a young scholar, to meet Dr. Thomas Pavlak, who made possible my post-doc stay at the University of Georgia.

Yuri Krivorotko, Belarus: NISPAcee  has enriched my skills and knowledge in the public administration area. It involves us in European values and directs us to the European path of public administration development. That is why I choose NISPAcee and remain with it.

Judit Szakos, Hungary: I was very glad to have the opportunity to take part in the NISPAcee conference. It was my first international conference presentation so being in the Main Conference Theme session was a great challenge and possibility at the same time. I would like to thank you, the organizers, for a great job. I am sure that I will participate in this event every year since both the professional background and the community is great.

Nadezhda Bobcheva, Bulgaria: We, the participants at the NISPAcee conferences, are like a family. Indeed, we are all different - some of us are practitioners, others university lecturers, and others providing institutional support. The close "family" interaction among us is great - we all become familiar with others' points of view, which makes our work more fruitful. That is why I come to these conferences - to feel part of a great family.

Olga Stariņeca, Latvia: I am a doctoral student from Latvia. Studying Public Administration (PA) and conducting researches in the field, it is important to gain a broader understanding of the concept and explore the relevant examples. The NISPAcee annual conference presents me with the opportunity to enter a community of experienced academicians and practitioners in PA and for this reason I have participated in the conference for three years.
There is a list of the various benefits from participation in the conference for me, namely the opportunities to:
1.    Become acquainted with some new tendencies in the field.
2.    Present my research results and participate in the scientific discussions in an international environment.
3.    Establish new contacts with both young and experienced researchers that are useful for further cooperation within the studies in the field.
4.    Learn more about other countries’ latest good PA practice cases to share them with my students and colleagues.
As a bonus there is the possibility to learn, in particular, more about the PA culture and the case of the conference host country from the region, which differ every year.
Networking and knowledge/experience sharing in an international and multicultural environment is appreciated and required for each young researcher. The NISPAcee annual conference always meets my expectations and brings me many positive emotions and valuable learning experience.
I hope the NISPAcee community continues its development and attracts more and more annual conference participants each year!
See you next year!
