What should you already be doing now to ensure you are well prepared for the 2021-2027 programming period? How can you avoid delays once the new Regulations are adopted? Are there simplification opportunities that should be explored now? Shouldn’t you already be thinking about programming, implementation modalities, performance elements, monitoring, controlling and auditing for the next generation of programmes?

This highly practical two-day course will provide you with replies to all above mentioned questions and will give you a complete overview of changes to be introduced in the 2021-2027 Cohesion Policy programmes. It will give you also a full understanding of steps to be taken from now onwards in order to be fully prepared on time for those changes.

The unique feature of this course is that you will get all this practical knowledge from experts from the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU, EU Commission, European Court of Auditors and Member States, directly involved in the preparations of the next programming period.
What will you learn in this course?

Relevant draft regulations for 2021-2027 and their consequences for Member States
State of play of negotiations for the next programming period
All aspects of Cohesion Policy programmes management 2021-2027: from programming and fulfilling enabling conditions, to deciding on implementation modalities, monitoring and evaluation
Control and audit arrangements
What can be improved: conditionalities, simplifications and performance measures

How will it help you?

We have made this course very practical and interactive. All presentations include concrete examples and there are two highly practical workshops in small working groups. You will not only learn about changes in the 2021-2027 programming period, but you will also go back to your workplace with a set of concrete ideas and actions to be taken and implemented in the near future.
Who is this course for?

Managing Authorities, Coordination Bodies, Intermediate Bodies, Certifying Authorities, Audit Authorities responsible for ESIF
Economic and social partners, including: universities, NGOs, regional or thematic associations involved in negotiations or working with the Funds,
Consulting companies providing support to national authorities in order to set-up future programme elements

What will you be able to do with what you learn?

You will gain knowledge of all the new developments expected in the 2021-2027 programming period. You will also learn what you should already be doing in terms of planning and taking actions now to ensure that you are fully prepared.
