Changing society and requirements for public administration, emerging social needs of and limited capacities of public institutions to meet them all, the empowerment of all sectors to work together for the social welfare, implies the researchers and experts from different fields to discuss about opportunities and challenges in developing Collaborative governance. The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists and practitioners for the dialog about developing of Collaborative Governance, its resolution at local level, to share insights and practice.

The conference will focus on a broad range of topics:
• Capacity building and competencies for Collaborative Governance in local self-government
• Strengthening democracy in local self-government in developing Collaborative Governance
• Cross-Sectoral Partnerships as a basis for Collaborative Governance
• From E. Government to Collaborative E. Governance in local self-government
• Enhancing the efficiency of public services in developing Collaborative Governance
• Ethics, Law and Collaborative Governance
• Socio-economical local challenges in developing Collaborative Governance

Conference participants are invited to suggest presentations for the plenary session.
