Panel on Housing Problem and Housing Policy

Housing problem exists in all countries and appears in the various forms. This problem has similar characteristics in the countries of CEE region and is very acute. Housing policy is the set of methods the authorities use to solve the housing problem.

The main objective of the Panel is to concentrate the theoretical and applied researches on the housing problem to work the scientificbase for governmental housing policy. This objective may be achieved by joint efforts of the competent researchers of many countries.

The main directions of the Panel activity are assumed to be the following:

1. separate and comparative research of the socio-economic and financial aspects of the housing problem and the ways of its solving in the countries of CEE region;

2. study of impact of the housing situation on the economic and social development and interrelations between housing policy and economic indicators.


CALL FOR PAPERS

Panel on HOUSING PROBLEM & HOUSING POLICY continues to accept the papers devoted to the following items:

- indicators reflecting the state of the housing problem;

- standards of housing provision and housing quality;

- methods of demand-supply planning of the housing;

- housing financing;

- results of the housing policy and its efficiency;

- housing regulation and management and the means of housing policy.
