On-line Application with a Paper Proposal

During the 21st NISPAcee conference in Belgrade for the first time a colloquium for practitioners was organized. The goal of thereof is not to discuss papers, but to discuss the topics as such. The idea is to initiate a discussion, especially among practitioners, about current topics in public administration. Last year this proved to be very interesting and all participants were enthusiastic about the approach.

Practitioners as well as scholars are invited to present a paper on a topic that would be especially relevant for practitioners and in which the authors are able to initiate a discussion that goes beyond the contents of their paper. Submissions from practitioners are not supposed to be research papers but rather short case studies on good and bad practicies. Contributions are welcome until January 31, 2014 .

Last year the topics were about public-private relationships and about public sector reform. The topics for this colloquium on the 22nd NISPAcee conference are about "Working in the public sector nowadays” and about "Principals and agents in public administration”.
