Public Administration employees work under difficult conditions. There is strict procedural arrangement which prescribes working procedure in public authorities. As the result, there are certain competences Public Administration employees need to have. On the other hand, any Public Authority work in the period of change. They have to response to changes, which happen in the State and outside of the State. At the same time, they must follow internal order regulations and keep to the directives for State aim achieving in every Public Authority objective.
This work does research on interrelation of Public Administration employees core competences and trained competences and correlation of Public Administration employees education and training with Public Authorities goals in Latvia. The authors of the present work pay attention to the aspects of planning which is necessary to include in Public Administration employees training.
